James River Report July 9th
Had a trip Friday night on the James and picked up a 57, 40, 31, 22, and a 14 lber. Had to stop fishing around 2:AM so things were pretty good for a short trip.
Chick Report July 8th
Had a trip Thursday night on the Chick. picked up a 45, 39,
34, 31, 25, and 2 small ones. The best part in this trip was seeing a 10 year old young man get his first cat at 34 lbs and his 2nd at 45 lbs man that just makes my day.
June 12th with clients on the James
The fish below are 36, 32, 31 and 30
lbs. We caught a total of 9 fish. This was on the James. Not to bad for mid June.
April 24th with clients on the Potomac
This trip was to the Potomac on April 24th. 7 fish for the day with a 38 lb cat and 31lb rockfish at the top of the list.
April 18th with clients on the Mattaponi
This trip was to the Mattaponi April 18th. 9 fish for the day, 39 and 37 lbs. were the big fish.
April
10th with clients from Maryland
A Trip to the Potomac on April 10th with clients
from Maryland. A 40 and a 37 lb. fish
for the day
April 8th on the James
James Shifflet who was 79 years old and his first bluecat and it was 42 lbs.
This was on April 8th. on the James.
Clients from Kansas April 5th - April 9th
April 5th on the James River with 2 clients from Kansas. First fish was a 38 lb.
and then a 46 lber came later. We also got a shot of an Eagle on the
Chickohominy River.
April the 7th on the James with a 34 lber, a 27 lb Striper, and a 38 lber.
A trip to
Mattaponi with clients from Kansas on Friday April 9th. We caught a 41, 44, a 49 lber, a pair of 30's and a 35 lber to round out the day

Fished the James on Saturday,fishing was slow but
we did get a 61, 58, 43, 24, 21 and a 12lber.

Had clients on Saturday and Sunday from North Carolina. Saturday on the James, with a 51, 45, 35, 31 and two in the twenties.
Sunday on the Chick we had a 42, 40, 34 and a handful in the mid
20's. The wind
was pretty rough both days.

Had clients with me from Luray, Va. on Friday
March 19th. Fishing was slow that morning on the outgoing tide, but on
the incoming tide things picked up. We got a 33, 31, 28, 29, 26, and a
couple of teenagers. The last bite of the day was the big boy a 66.2 lb.
